Comics

Post by :Vragh: »

Been reading a bit more this year, and that has included some comics.

Started reading the Sandman Mystery Theatre collections by Matt Wagner. Pretty decent stuff. Right now a bit too slow for me, so remaining albums are saved for later.

Also started rereading the classic Judge Dredd comics and finished the first Judge Dredd The Complete Case Files. Currently reading the second volume.

Also rereading Xenozoic by Mark Schulz. Great art and rather entertaining story. Sci fi and dinosaurs, hard to go wrong.

What I've mostly been reading is the italian comic Dylan Dog, which fortunately has been translated into swedish in the past few years. There are some english language edition that I can't recommend enough. Horror with some humor. The movie Della Morte Dell'amore was based on the character.

Also been reding some Valerian comics that finally saw print in a swedish translation. One more album to go there, with more previously not translated material. Here's hoping the movie will do the comic justice..

Trying to get a bit back into some reading...

Picked up the first Deadworld book. Just need to find the time to read it though...
