Just started on this. Read a short story by Pelevin and was intrigued.

about 3/4 the way through on the yard ( book about san quentin in the 70's) and it very involving I had sort of underestimated this book because most books or television or whatever about the prison system/experience tend to be not very good but this is book has a nice sort of realism feel to it

i'm trying to finish the sot-weed factor by john barth but its pretty dense although very funny, especially if you like jokes about people fart, shitting themselves etc. reminds me rabelais and mason and dixon by pynchon neither of which i finished but i'm gonna try real hard to finsih this book! and then probably read giovanni's room by baldwin or somethin by jean genet

New Juche "The Mountainhead" arrived today. Wish I was less preoccupied so I could actually start it!
