re-read The Hobbit - wasn't originally planning on any more of the series but just might have to keep reading now...

the last thing I read before this was "Candide" by Voltaire

Currently reading By Sword and Fire - Cruelty and Atrocity in Medieval Warfare by Sean McGlynn. Will probably start on Artemis by Andy Weir or Shadowland by Elizabeth Kostova in the next week or so.

BTW I'm reading Guenon's "The Crisis of the Modern World". Guy's neat for a Mason.
