Where ƒrost reign label & press November update is now live.

As promised the new update feature an extensive bibliography into writer, editor and rope master Dan Oniroku. Where frost reign is pleased to announce that we are able to present some of his rarer and much sought after publications, namely the «Bondage Photo Collection» five-part photo book series, his 1972 collaboration with photographer Daido Moriyama «Kagero» and for instance the three-part art book series «Beloved - Bunkyo Era Bondage Series» - and let’s not forget Oniroku’s own SM magazine SM King. As a lengthening of Oniroku Where frost reign also presents a selection of rare and out-of-print publications with the Japanese artist and rope master Itoh Seiu. This are highly recommended - the first being issued in 1953. It is also a pleasure to bring to attention that we have been able to get our hands on ten unread Physique Pictorial magazines dating from the ‘60s to ‘70s - all containing Tom Of Finland front covers and art. In terms of literature make a note of Peter Sotos’s «Ingratitude» and two new additions from US imprint Amphetamine Sulphate - Gary Mundy’ s «Specialist Fabricator» and the collaborative book «Small Talk at the Clinic» by writer Thomas Moore and artist Steven Purtill.

The November hangar addition sees new records form imprints: Filth An Violence, Street Smart Records, Endangered Speices, Klaxon and more. Potential month high-lights are definitely Tommy Wright III’s masterpiece «Runnin - N - Gunnin’» and the new Bizarre Uproar album «Verikiima» - which contains four full volume recordings of slow tectonic gravity; physical charge and eruptions with ethereral vampyric fist-to-throat vocals. A serious 2018 contender. As I type Where frost reign is also in the midst of a brief chat with American noise act NIT. The result of this will soon be able to read online.

Since stocking this rare treat I've come across a new reading quality copy from my contacts. Said copy is a 1972 first edtion and is stated to be in 'under good condition'. Take note that Japan in general tend better to books than the West. So, quality of Japanese books are for the most part upgraded a nocth by European description standards. For any interested fan this is a recommended if not mandatory print if one is either into Daido Moriyama, Japanese photography, Dan Oniroku books or kinbaku in general.
